Training and certifications are a good indicator of capability and commitment. AltiTerra is serious about training. In fact, most of 2022 was dedicated to training and certification efforts.
Certified Veteran Owned Small Business
AltiTerra is Proud to be a Certified Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) by the US Small Business Administration.
FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot in Command
Commercial drone operators are certified under the 14 CFR Part 107 Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS). Generally speaking, you cannot operate a drone in furtherance of your business without obtaining a Part 107 certificate, including incidental use such as marketing or YouTube promotional video. Hiring an uncertified/illegal Drone Pilot also carries a significant risk.

The Infrared Training Institute (ITC) is the world leader in Thermography Training. The ITC Level 1 sUAS Thermography course is the premier certification of its kind. Level 1 sUAS Thermographers receive 32 hours of training specifically tailored to airborne thermal data collection. The influences of elevation, angle, wind speed and other environmental conditions are unique to airborne data collection efforts. Understanding the capabilities, and limitations of the equipment is not intuitive and without proper training it's easy to misinterpret radiometric data. Flawed analysis could have catastrophic consequences.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) mission is to help people before, during and after disasters. AltiTerra is committed to helping during times of need. Drones provide critical services during difficult times. Infrared/Thermal imaging is especially useful in locating victims of natural disasters. Current, high resolution images allow response personal to prioritize assets where they're needed the most while keeping response personal safe at the same time. AltiTerra is FEMA Certified!
