Construction Monitoring

Welcome

CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS MONITORING

Drones have become a valuable tool for construction progress monitoring, providing a range of benefits that can help improve the efficiency and accuracy of construction projects. Some of the key advantages of using drones for construction progress monitoring include:

Time-Efficient

Drones can cover large areas quickly and efficiently, reducing the time and resources required for inspections.

Data Collection

Drones can collect data such as 3D models and other information that can be used to track construction progress and identify potential issues.

Safety

Drones can be used to inspect areas that may be hazardous for workers, such as high-up or hard-to-reach areas, reducing the risk of injury and increasing overall safety.

Real-Time Monitoring

Drones equipped with live-streaming capabilities allow for real-time monitoring of construction progress, enabling quick response to issues and helping to keep projects on track and on schedule.

High-Resolution Imagery

Drones can be equipped with high-resolution cameras, allowing for detailed and accurate inspections of construction progress, capturing both still images and videos.

Cost-Effective

Drones can be used to inspect hard-to-reach areas, eliminating the need for scaffolding or other equipment, as well as labor costs associated with manual inspections.

Drone topography plays a vital role in construction monitoring by providing precise and up-to-date data on construction sites. With the help of high-resolution cameras and advanced sensors, drones can capture detailed aerial imagery, which is then used to create accurate topographic maps. This data allows construction teams to analyze the terrain, identify potential challenges, and make informed decisions, ultimately improving project efficiency and reducing costs.

Overall, drones have become a valuable tool for construction progress monitoring, providing a cost-effective, efficient, and safe way to track the progress of construction projects and identify potential issues.

Georeferencing

Do you need Georeferenced data?  No, problem.  AltiTerra can collect Ground Control Points (GCP) and georeference your data.  Note - we are NOT licensed surveyors.  We can work with your Surveyor, or a third party, to provide survey-grade data if required.

Great results start with great imagery, and we have the best equipment on the market.  The DJI Zenmuse P1 camera is a full frame (35.9×24 mm), 45 megapixel sensor providing 8192 x 5490 resolution.  Smart oblique capture for 3D modeling missions reduces the number of images required

and the time on-site.   The P1 allows us to fly higher (safer)
